Burris Signature Zee Rings

I wentover to "RFC" (Joined today) and sent tenspot a pm, if he replys & still has them i will share the info here for all to see. I should of done it before placing my costly order.

I recieved the Cap Button Head Screws today. I am really quite disappointed in them for the Burris Ring Crossbolt application.

The button Head is small (allen wrench size 5/64's).
The screw length (threaded portion) is .980.

When i threaded the screw into a ring i had here i noticed that the threaded portion only extended appx 1/2 of the way thru the threaded portion of the ring.

The original equipment screw has threads that extend all the way thru just about flush with far side of the ring.

I really am quite disappointed as i had high hopes........

Thanks for the update.

While I am very fond of the Signature Zee rings, I do believe a design update is in order. Primarily to take the crossbolt screw and upgrade it to a button head torx screw in 8-40.
