I'm a yank and we don't hear that term "Bloody" You write in any style you prefer . I just walk in the door from rifle range shooting my 22/250AI. I use 44grs of w-w 760. Nosler CT shot poorly compared to Nosler Ballistic Tips. If you look in the book cut aways they look different( The Two Bullets) but measuring the ogive and seating depth they are Identical. I wonder if its the coating on the Nosler CT Balistic Silvertip that made the distinction.
 
To Worker and others.

Have plenty of W760 on hand and have some 55s loaded up at 41.5g and WLR primers. Rifle is still about 9 days away, according to weapons licencing branch, so wont load any higher untill I see what the pressure is like. Have some projectiles that came with the deal, 55g orange ballistic tip flat base. They might be Noslers but don't Nosler Balistic tips have a boat tail? Maybe some one can help? Worker its bazzar the way some perfectly good bullets just wont shoot in some rifles. Have a very accurate 308 that hates 130g Hornady Spire points and a 270 Win that sprays Hornady SSTs all over the target. All the best Murphy.:)
