Bolt sleeving

What size is the bolt body turned to before installation of the sleeves?
What does everyone use to bond the sleeves to the bolt body?

Of the ones I've done, I reduced the diameter to around .650" and used JB Weld as bond. Before, I tried with Marinetex, and the result was bad.

I was advised to use JB Weld by experienced gunsmiths and it really worked.
