i have a stolle grizley in 6mmdasher. it's grouping very well and
crono's at 3100. i have a click at the top of the bolt lift. could
someone tell me what is causing this. thanks jay

My 6BR was clicking after three firings. I switched to a Small Base Die and the click is gone. I've never been able to neck size only with this cartridge. I've been told that the web of the case isn’t being sized down enough and the click is the bolt handle striking the receiver at the end of extraction camming. I think it also has to do with the brass work hardening as it's fired multiple times and not being as plyable during sizing, springing back after sizing. As a general rule of thumb, after five or so firings, I trash the brass. That’s when my click seems to come back.

Harrels might have a FL die for your chambering that would size down the web slightly.

I do not believe they do. I know they do BR and PPC and possibly 6x47 but I have not heard Harrells do a Dasher.

Get a redding small base die.

The cuprit in "bolt click", (usually), is the web area being too tight at the big end of the chamber.
What is the cause??. A reamer that is ground a tad small, a chamber with "rings" that grips the brass, or brass that is too big.
You can cure one with a small base die, (sometimes), but I prefer having the chamber the correct size and the correct finish..
Of course, too hot a load could also be the culprit, you did not mention what weight bullet you were shooting at 3100........jackie
