It was a nice day for a match, sunny and warm with light winds, a little switchy but not bad at all. We had 16 shooters in VFS and 3 factory guns( I think). Steve( blind hog) Stanley :)got the win in VFS w 250-22x score, Charles Ellerston was 2nd w 250-21x, Wayne France was 3rd w 250-21 also. I don't know who won factory as the computer wouldn't print results, I think it was locked up because it knew it had to be a mistake with my name at the top of the page. As I always say you can't fix stupid but sometimes you can beat it off long enough to win a match. Thank goodness for that. It was good to see Charles and Joel Pendergraft up from NC to shoot with us it had been awhile since their last visit. Thanks to KC, Elsie and the rest of the crew for a good match. Steve

Good shooting Steve, and congratulations to all that shot well.

Great shooting Steve, Charles & Wayne. I had fun as usual without being in the elite group of winners. KC has a great range and we always feel welcome when we go there to shoot.

Thank's guys, when you have shot as sorry as I have for the last year or so it feels good to finally be competitive again and sincere well wishes from your fellow competitors means a lot. I appreciate all the congrats from ya'll and I hope ya'll have a great year of shooting. Steve

Steve,

When somebody has shot as well as you have, for as long as you have, it would be a mistake to call a dry period "unfixably stupid." Whatever is going on, you'll get it fixed. Remember that equipment problems can be subtle enough so after a while, you've changed enough & you think it has to be you. More often than not, it isn't. But even when it is, you just have to put up with the dry spell 'till your confidence returns enough to let the instincts take over again.

Thank's Charles, I think I'm on the road to curing my equipment problems, the bad habits and mental problems I've picked up on the way will be tougher I think. This game is about confidence, you must have absolute confidence in your equipment and your abilities to be successful and when you lose it you will struggle until you get it back.
