Best Dies for .308

I originally was going to get a Lee Deluxe set however everyone I deal with was sold out So I started looking at better dies

That's cool.
I joined a range 3 yrs ago. Some guy talked me into staying around for a match. I had 20 rounds for a Savage Model 10 .308. Did that a couple weeks.
These guys had mostly factory looking stuff. One "Space gun".
Then got stuck on 2nd shift. But, the club has a morning benchrest. Way cool. Saw some old customs. Rem 40X, Rem. .223, AR Hybrid....
Next year, the club started a Varmint league. Saw and shot my first custom.
Wow. :)
Got a used one, last year. 6PPC. :)

I've found that whenever the buggers play up & scratch necks it's because there isn't (enough) lube on the mating male & female cones and/or the collet fingers need cleaning, particularly around the slots.

Since I adjusted mine like John Valentine suggests, they've been slick as.
