Berger Column bullet

Good news, I just received my replacement 'Column" bullets.
The bullets were picked up 'No Charge' on 5/31/2012 and returned 6/27/2012.
Great service, Thanks Eric!

Now to the range :)

I got my replacement BR column bullets today. I sent the others back 6/07 and already got the new ones. Now that is what I call quick turnaround. Too bad I have to wait until the weekend to try these out.

Got mine a few days ago.

Centerfire, it was nice to get to meet you at the East/West. Hope it was fun.

Hovis, I always enjoy shooting next to a better shooter than I.
Congratulations on your award.
See you in the future.

I appreciate the kind words. This is a very important situation for all of us at Berger. We are making more bullets now and will do our best to keep them in stock.

Regards,
Eric

I am still waiting for my bullets to come in but i did get my hands on some yesterday and they shot fantastic. I shot a 5 shot .060 with H322 28.2gr and the bullet was .005 back from full push back jam. Lee
How is everyone else shooting? I plan to buy many many more of these bullets, if the price is right. Lee

Skeet, were those you shot yesterday from someone's replacement lot (4533) or from a different lot? If from a different lot, what is that Lot Number? Thanks. BB

Shot the replacements in a two gun at Holton last weekend. Had around 12 rnds of load development prior to match. First two groups were a .184 and .130 From there on, I had a hard time keeping my head from sliding up my a**....you get the point. Like a friend once told me "I managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory".

At no time during the two days, did I go to the line, or see on the target, the inability that I couldn't win the match. I am going to do some more testing under a little better conditions but as of right now, I believe they are a competitive bullet.

As far as staying in tune....same as very good other bullets I have.

Wind drift....normal.

I could say a lot more about them but want to double check my opinion before I post it (like anyone would be interested anyway). Like the window of seating depth. I do know that one time (due to a distraction) I went to the line with two different loads mixed together and shot a .3XX at 200 yds with a whole click difference in the loads. I didn't realize it until I went to reload and seen the different setting on my measurer. Maybe I just got lucky...maybe not but these are a couple of things I want to test.
