Pete - Thanks for promoting benchrest and attracting new shooters!

Jeff

You're Welcom Jeff, We all need to do what we can. Orland Bunker has done a great job the past few years with bringing several new shooters along. He deserves a big Thank You.

We had a great turnout for our Clinic today. One shooter drove down fro Quebec and one over from New York. We had at least 5 "Locals" as well. Thank you all for attending and to all of those who gave their day and resources to make this another successful Clinic. See you all tomorrow.

Pete

Kudos to Pete Wass and Randy Jarvais. The clinic was very enlightening, and two of those new shooters that attended the clinic on Saturday showed up to shoot in the match on Sunday.

I also attended the clinic,
Randy's tuning tips were the talk after the class as we headed to the range. The students from Bangor area, Quebec and New York were a well rounded group. Each had their own reasosns for attending, all went a way with a great deal of knowledge and some good friends in the game.
Peter and Randy, you two are to be applauded for your time and efforts.
Thanx for what you do

As the attendee from NY I want to thank Pete and Randy for the wealth of info they shared. Also, thanks to the other experienced shooters who worked with me. It was well worth the trip. After reviewing my targets from Sunday's match I have concluded that my rifle is not well tuned. I am planning to use Randy's load development/tuning method next week for which I am currently prepping loads.

Just think how long it might have taken you to learn this by Trial & Error ! Thank You for coming. You certainly drove a looooooong way . Pete

On Sharing:

In all the Sports I have participated in over the years I have been a believer in sharing all the knowledge available with EVERYONE. In Sports, much of the end results resides in the 5" field between our ears. The only way to make a Sport grow is to have more people competing and at a level that pushes all of us to pay more attention to that small Field between our ears. It bugs me when folks try to hold onto something they have learned and try to use it as an advantage. They still have to be able to make the Small Field Yield and how better to do it than realize everyone is on a Level Field?

Total agreement with the help a class offers someone. I never have competed with the likes of the shooters in this game, most of whom are so willing to help you beat them .. even if its shooting their own equipment against them.
Newcomer, Keep good notes when conducting the tests.
