Base adapters

G'day,

I have a quick question about bases. I am hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction.

I have 2 types of bases on my rifles, weaver and davidson. Long term I hope to standardise to one type, but short term I was wondering if anyone knows of an adapter (and who makes them) that could clamp onto my weaver bases which would have a davidson top, allowing me to interchange scopes with ease. The additional height would not worry me.

I have also seen a davidson extensions that basically give more height does anyone know a good source of these?

I haven't come across anything like it before, I thought it might have to be a custom made job.
