Barney's win at Mainville Mania is no Small feat

Barney Small bested nearly 40 shooters to win the August 24-25 Mainville Mania in Mainville, PA. Congratulations to Barney on an excellent win with a .2471 2-gun agg. Following Barney in the overall was son Wyatt Pinehardt edging his father, Jeff Pinehardt.

Bob and Edna White continue to run a very smooth operation at Mainville. They deserve our thanks for their commitment to hosting quality shoots.

We also gave Joel Nader his IBS Precision Rifleman jacket during the awards ceremony. I will post a photo and a few comments on a separate thread.

P.S. - The Mainville range lies along the lower slopes of a rocky lineal ridge. It is well know for snakes....usually rattlers. The sign on the portajohn is NOT a joke.

Congratulations Barney! You have been shooting consistently well all year! The father/son Peinhardt combination are a tough act to follow. Wyatt is quite a shooter and only a teenager to boot! Who does the gunsmithing for you?

Russ Rains was dialed in and gave us shooters a break by taking his "good" barrel off his rifle before the match.

I guess the presentation of the jacket was why Joel looked "all cleaned up"! Is it true that he got a manicure done for the match?

Thanks also to Al Auman for sharing some "apple pie" with the shooters after the match!

Bob and Edna and Adrianne great job as usual running the matches at Mainville!
