Hi there!

Ust got back from a bad day at the range. Som how i managed to get a casing stuck in the barrel, bolt wood not open and all was stuck  So i put the barrel in a wice and got it out but now my extraktor claw is ruind and i can not get the bolt out of the action, seams to be a smal edge on the lugs (back)
This is an Stolle Kodiak action. 6ppc barrel.
What do i do now?

Take it to a good gunsmith and have him check it out. Without seeing the problem I can only guess that that the load you where using was way to hot and by your description there is something seriously wrong with the action. What where you shooting in it when the problem happened?

First off be glad nobody was hurt , secondly I must agree with JohnVM get it into the hands of a good gunsmith. I can only surmise your load was way too hot. The Action or at least the bolt may well need to be returned to Kelblys to get necessary repairs.

Caine, were there a case failure, or a serius overload? One of the swedish shooters had a case failure at WBC9, and the front of the bolt expanded to the point were he couldn´t remove the bolt from the action without considerable force.

Are you able to move the bolt at all? Look at the extractor slot, is it enlarged? That was the problem for the swedish shooter. Anyway, I guess it´s time to call the insuracse company and report the damage:( You should most likely be able to get money from the insurance company to cover repair, or a new action.

Talkt to Hobie at kelby to day, sending the bolt there. This was me doing a newbe mistake. Were on the range whit 3 barrels, had 2 missfire on new brass. Grabed the neerest box of ammo and gamed one ruond in and slamed the action shut. Where ammo for an other barrel
Bolt is out and reddy for shipent.
