ARC 100 yd Match for Score
22 Shooters - 17 VFS, 5 Factory
This was as typical of a summer Match at ARC as can be.... summer heat, prevaling S @ 5-10 and a bright sunny day. Typical attendance of 22 shooters when its HOT.
The Factory rifles were once again dominated by Chad Schimpf and his 6.5 Cmoor. I'd say he's got it dialed in winning all 5 Best Targets and taking home the first place winnings with a 248-8X. 2nd place winner is Norman Luther at 240-7X and 3rd was Marcos Hernandez with a 228-1X.
There was a tie for 1st VFS rifle at 250-21X between Marlon Goates and Charles Moore. Tiebreaker went to Match3 where Marlon wins by edging out Charles. We also had a tie for 3rd place at 250-19X shot by Matt Johnson and Larry Kochanowicz. Matt wins that tiebreaker for 3rd place.
Good match today, everyone pitched in to help. That really helps when its pushing 100 and time to bug out to the A/C.
Next match is Aug 30, starts at 10 am.
The September Match is our Hunter Rifle Match. You can still shoot any rifle you want....there will be special prizes for Hunter class.
And our 200 yd match will be in October. The last Sunday of the month for sure.
