ARA matches in Denton TX

Would there be any interest in ARA matches next year at the Denton Texas club. If so, I will make some happen. Probably be run very similar to the Ennis TX matches.

Jerry, I think you would have quite a few people show up to ARA matches at the club in Denton. What did you think about the ARA Nationals?

Yes, My 'rope' will reach Denton with just a bit to spare.

The nationals

were fun. I wish I would have shot better. The vertical component of wig-wag winds killed me. I started to get a little of a handle on it toward the end. I need to get my own rest etc soon. For now I will use Eds or just a bag and front rest. I may put a barreled action on my rail top and try that too. I think we will start up ARA in Denton next year and try to fill the void left by grand prairie. Look forward to the next Ennis match.

I enjoyed our conversations at the Nationals. Your new action, showed lots of promise, I was impressed. Looking forward to shooting at Denton on occasion. It's over a 6 hour trip for us, and what makes it worst, is we have to go thru the Metroplex to get there. Still recouping from the long trip to the Nationals. Did get home safely.

i hope this is ok. fred why didnt you let it be known you were going i was there. i didnt get to meet anyone! i did get to meet roger vanarnes. that was worth it alone.

i am almost over my heart surgery so i will be there making noise next year. i will probabley bring my bus and camp out with charlie scot.

Fred, Just stay on 35 west don't go through Dallas just wonderfun Fort Worth.
Maybe I'll shoot it too....:)

We go thru Denton almost everytime we go to OK. Last time I looked at a map, Ft Worth is still part of the Metroplex. It's an over night stay for us if we go that far north.

Fred I don't do maps I get lost the old fashion way. I know I was just saying F/W traffic is a lot eaiser then Dallas. Yes its a chore going to the shoots.
 
No Fred, I got tired of chasing the ammo and running into road blocks from stuff. I got into centerfire and long range with Stick and that crowd. I now have the ability to control my ammo and like it. But if the matches get going at Denton to which I now belong to I will shoot them. Hope you and Dorthy are well. See you soon.
