Looking for a box or 2 of the lupua 6 br brass in the old cardboard box.
If you have some e mail me at Shmartin70@aol.com and I will buy it from you.
Thank You!

How Much Thinner??.

The reason I ask is I have been using 6BR circa about two years ago for my 30 BR parent, it has about .0035 inch total diameter to turn off for the .330 neck. . ........jackie

New Lapua brass measures .012" wall thickness , compared to .013 of the older. Makes it easier to turn to a .330 chamber on the 30br. Just did some this morning. Necking up and turning is easier. Don't know how it will shoot yet. John

What does the new stuff weigh?

I've got some of the older brass still in the box and weighed 10 pieces at random. Extreme spread was between 125.4 and 126.3 but most were 126.0 +/- two tenths.

If the new brass is thinner, it will weigh less.

I took one piece of the new brass and got a weight of 125.8 gr. Didn't weigh anymore. John
