Anybody remember this?

Most of us remember all the lies the dem's promised to get elected in 2006.....haven't they done a wonderful job keeping them?? The congress has a 9% approval rating thanks to the "Pelosi Premium" and the other great things they have accomplished over the last two years in power. Just think about how wonderful things will be with Pelosi, Dingy Harry, and Osama running the nation......stay away from large cities, we might see to many mushroom clouds!!
 
i remember president jimmy carter in a speach on tv saying " he had taken steps to make us energy independant in 30 years" ..what happened to that ?????
 
The same thing that happened to Clinton's balanced budget, the paper it was written on was worth more than what he said he was going to do!!

Why in Gods name isn't the Republican National Committee pounding home the fact that when the Dems took over Congress, oil was at $80 a barrel, and Gas at $2.45 a gallon. Now, look what we have.
And all of the pundits are saying this will be the biggest winning election cycle EVER for the Dems.
President Bushes approval rating is at 27 percent. Congress is in the single digits.
What is going on.???. Isn't it easy to see where the problem really is???.......jackie

When you have the in tire media in your pocket as O'bama does, do you think that the party with their heads up their A$$es can pull them out long enough to even support their Bob Dole clone?

Remember it feels to good to be anti-Bush for most folks. Haven't we had 8 years of hearing Republican, BAD. Democratic, GOOD?

Hell man, don't get mad at the Demos, get mad at the voting public that allows both of these clowns a chance at the office.

Personally I hope O'bana wins, the dumba$$ country deserves him.

As bad as it is, I think there are powers that be, that pick these clowns ahead of time to run.

The whole thing is flat out sickening.

I guess you answered your own question; NOTHING!.

The irony is now many environmentalists are admitting that nuclear energy is a solution to providing electrical power, the only downside is the spent nuclear fuel. Jimmy Carter cancelled the breeder reactor program which would have taken spent nuclear fuel, reprocessed the fuel, and sent it back to the utility for another cycle of fuel. This would have minimized the amount of spent fuel that each utility must now store onsite, reducing spent fuel costs and waste. The French have been doing this successfully for decades.

Maybe I have missed it in the news, but what does France do with its nuclear waste since they get 70 or 80 percent of their electricity from nuclear plants? :confused:

They incapsulate it in molten glass cylinders, place it in tanks filled with water on site of the same plant the waste came from. This has only been going on since the 1960's. They just neglected to develop a green movement of radicals to B**** about it.

Jimmy Carter screw-up???:(:(:( or from an optimist point of view...what did he do worthwhile???:D:D:D I guess Al Gore and Jimmy will always be the greatest icons of the lib's!!
