Anybody know a good 308 AR smith out there?

My first choice John Holliner/White Oak, will not work on 308 AR's. It seems most AR smiths only care to work on the usual 5.56/223 AR.

I'm looking to have a new Krieger barrel (or other quality barrel) installed on my DPMS 308.....as well as a flash hider, and DD rail and an A2 front post sight installed. I'd prefer the barrel be custom reamed so the bullet is closer to the lands for better accuracy.

I've emailed ADCO, and I'm waiting to hear back from him.

Any other leads in the meantime?

Did they tell you why at White Oak they won't build a AR for you in .308? The answer I got was enough for me to stay clear.

Try Accuracy Speaks if you just have to have one, do a web search, they are in Arizona. Still at the rifle range as far as I know.

I noticed in a recent brochure

that Remington is selling a similar rifle as a Hunting Rifle, which I found to be absolutely amazing!

I second Big Als recomendation. Give Derek Martin a call at Accuracy Speaks. Hes a great smith and a good shooter.

Scott Medesha has plenty of experience with AR10s and will build you a good one. Only issue is delivery time. Don't be in a hurry for anything that Scott commits to.

Great work but very slow.
