Any shooter friendly outdoor areas near Los Angeles left?

Can anyone recommend an area near Los Angeles where I can just go outdoors, set up my own targets and shoot my guns and test my new loads?

I know of some regulated indoor and outdoor ranges like Angeles Shooting Range and Burro Canyon, but it takes so long sometimes in between line breaks, and I just want to try out a few of my new 308, 357 and 45 loads....maybe make adjustments from the back of my Suburban. Maybe even have a picnic with my family?

I know, I know...this is California :(

I know most National Forest areas have been closed to shooting due to the trash shooters left behind in the past.

Anything still open nearby? Do I have to go to Arizona or Texas?

You might try the Tajon Ranch spelling not my strong point.
Down in Orange County I think the Temechula Indian Res. has a open range.
Its tough there. I moved to Texas and its getting tough here for open ranges also.
Have own ranch and others out to 1K yds helps.
