I haven't heard of that ammo, but I did come across some of this. Have you shot any of this?

I haven't yet, but I'm going to see how it shoots.

Russian made was a pretty good ammo several years ago, they made junior temp and olymp.

Thats great, I have about 50+ boxes of this stuff. Hmmmm,,, hope one of my rifles likes it and that I can find some more!

Afponiky,
Is it brass or steel cased ammo, cause I got about a case of it (steel cased)and it's not to hot for shooting. Rambo

Why would the writing on the box be in English? Just curiious.......

I've got 30 boxes of temp, 20 boxes of junior, and 20 boxes that say temn. I have only shot junior. Shoots well, but is dirty. Looked at the boxes that say temn and it is all Russian writing and no English like the other. I also found 2 boxes of sniper that says on the box for competition.

Temp

What you read as "n" in "temn" is the cyrillic equivalent of the Latin letter "p". It's basically the same character as the Greek letter "pi"

The other characters "tem" just happen to be the same in both alphabets.

I bought some of this same ammo in the mid 90's at Camp Perry. I shot some of this for Benchrest shooting (informal local type) out of my Remington 37, and it was THE BEST shooting stuff I have ever shot. My 37 absolutely LOVED it, but YMMV!
