An open letter to the universe

Since it seems to be open letter month in the forum here is my two dinar's worth:
T-shirts: I love BR t-shirts. I have about 200 pounds worth and wear them everywhere but, please vendors, stop printing targets on the back. I can't visit my local high school or favorite Syrian war zone without feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Target crews: The Miss America Pageant directors in a fit of insanity have deleted the swim suit competition. Now they are going broke and the venue is probably going away. Please NBRSA offer these newly unemployed contestants a job as target crews. They must wear swim suits but in a magnanimous gesture can lose the high heels.
The wailing wall: All winners should donate their small groups to those on the bottom so that they may advance in the standings and not feel a loss of esteem. Any minority group in benchrest (those under the age of 50) should automatically have .100 subtracted from their ag. in order to encourage diversity.
Finally there is the pressing problem of forum rants. I purpose a new forum category called the _ _ _ _ you forum. Swearing, insults and threats, thinly veiled or otherwise, will be posted there. If you are rude, crude or just plain mean by all means vent your spleen on this venue. I'll bet it gets a big readership. Make its base a Starbucks in Portland. Outstanding

Esp, the part about Portland. My Daughter & Family lived there recently for 5 years. The place is so Liberal that Powells, a huge bookstore (a sq. block) has almost everything, EXCEPT Hunting & Shooting Magazines. My Daughter & Family loved the place, but I wouldn't live there on a bet.

Dr Tim, in regards to the _ _ _ _ You Forum, the overriding theme of those discussions should center around the old adage......"the first rule of getting out of a hole is to QUIT DIGGING"!!

I'll admit that I haven't been to Powell's in some years (since they closed "Powell's Technical") but they used to carry all the gun rags available. While not excusing nor denying the prevalent liberalism in Portland, perhaps it's the shoddy quality of most shooting periodicals that has led to their demise.
