Am I too worried about neck Diameter..?

I appreciate the help guys, but I plan on having this rifle re-chambered anyway. Even if it would chamber a round, I would still re-chamber it because I do not want to use a factory chamber. I need to find a gunsmith with a .332 30-378 WBY reamer, or have one made.

When I drop a 30-378 round into the chamber it appears that is sticks out a little too far. It is probably either the shoulder in the chamber is not deep enough, or the belt relief in the chamber looks a little shallow also.

Hey Ron, this is a different rifle ! I am talking about my 300 WBY on LRH. I am trying to decide what to do with my 30-378 here.

my bad, both headings were on neck clearance so I thought it was the same project. Ron
