Adhesive for Barrel glue in. .22RF

What is a good adhesive for gluing in a slip fit rim-fire barrel ? I have read where Loctite 271 is used for this purpose but I have never used it, your input appreciated.

Scuff it up ruff and use jb weld after degreasing good.

I have used Locktite 271 for several years to replace barrels in Anschutz 1712,1710, and 54 match actions with excellent results. The normal slip is.003" to .004"

Look up Loctite 420, it's used for prepositioned metal parts and is thinner than water
