We had a real treat at Rachels Glenn Saturday Morning, the festivities were openned by the singing of The National Anthem by Mathew Keller. He did it ACapella, and it was one of the best I have heard.

I have been around music my entire life, and that particular song is quite difficult, (we all have heard it butchered countless times). But to perform, in tune and on key, at a Gun Range, in the early morning, in the cold air. He did an absolutly fantastic job. The Kid can flat sing.

I have heard Matthew sing the National Anthem and he is a great singer. One thing that I really appreciated was the fact that he sung it as it was written.....none of that Hollywood junk that we often hear on TV. James

Jackie, I'm sorry I wasn't there to hear Mathew sing the national anthem.

I agree; there is nothing more beautiful than our national anthem sung exactly as it was written with no trills and frills added.

Matthew's singing has been a fixture at SE region matchs ever since he started in the game as a kid, he does a great job of it! Steve

Keller does a fantastic rendition to be sure. Only time I heard a mistake from him was @ the Rock match a few years ago when they fired the cannon salute a tad bit early and Keller almost swallowed his adams apple. Keller need's to have it recorded and distributed to all the ranges.
