A modern unsporting rifle?

Unless you're a meat hunter,

or a control officer,

or otherwise in a position where the ends justify the means....

!00% accurate? Wonder what that means.

I hope to finish my life without ever owning a scope with a USB port.

On 2nd thought, a video camera in the scope showing me just totally blowing a shot might be pretty cool!

Wind

I wonder how it would compensate for a 20 MPH cross wind with a traget at 500 yards and the target is the size of a ground hog. 100% accurate ? Uhmm.

Apparently it compensates for wind. But how? I can't see an anemometer on the scope for measuring wind speed, let alone anything to determine changes in wind speed and direction on the way to the target.

But it does have a fancy heads up display that (somehow) tells you the wind speed and direction. And wi-fi so you can look at said display on your iphone-pad-pod or what ever other fashionable must have to go hunting consumer electronics device.

I have a question. If you have to aquire and mark "tag" the target with the scope before commencing the auto shoot fearture, What have you gained?
Would'nt it just be easier to pull the trigger when you tag the target originally?

jo that just doesn't make sense.

???

OK, here's what I do now. #1 I "tag" the target with my laser RF, then I punch the trigger and take the reading. I sometimes do this more than once. #2 I SWAG the wind factor. #3 I take the resultant data and combine with altitude/pressure, humidity, temp, ammunition temp and lighting conditions. #4 I dial my scope appropriately....

etc

etc

"All" this scope does is combine the same stuff using with a programmed computer, it's neither "bad" nor "good," it's subject to GIGO just like the old way but it's definitely faster in it's collation than I am. You "tag," it figgers, you shoot.

That said, it can't just "tag/shoot" simultaneously, that doesn't make sense :)

alinwa Wonder if it would be legal for 1000 yard matches? little unfair if it reads the wind. Oh did anyone read any of the comments below. No wounder this country is doomed, all people think that thing like this are for, is killing people. Can't we all have good ideas about the use of guns!
