With the usual acknowledgement that I don't shoot short distance benchrest, I load VV N550 quite a bit for my 1000-1200 yard rifle. It's a finer powder than most, if not to 133 standard. I toss from an old Redding measure as a start load for my scale. I can get up to .4 grain variation in throw weight from that measure depending on humidity, even though the scale is locked on the same setting day in day out.As an example. Jackie has stated in the past that he would have trouble tuning N133 when the humidity changed. Maybe that change in humidity caused his powder measure to not throw N133 as well as was needed for a good tune ?
I'm happy that my scale is reading right because I confirm zero with one of the test weights that I have made for all my standard loads.
