I'll buy a Unique Alpine but don't know yet which caliber. A rifle in .243 will cost 189 euro less than one for 6BR. I don't know why.
Is there a good reason to go for the 6BR because it will shoot better, or is there no difference? I will mostly shoot 100 meter benchrest.
It's a little strange to save 189 euro when the rifle will cost 3289 euro. But when the result should be the same you see. Anyone who can help me out here?

There is no way you can compare a 6BR to a .243 Win, as the 6BR is far and away a much more accurate chambering. In fact, in the World of Benchrest, the difference is astronomical.

But, in situations where extreme accuracy is not the predominate factor, such as hunting deer size game with heavier bullets, the .243 would be the best choice. These are two different chamberings designed for to different applications.

Since you say that the main function will be 100 meter Benchrest, go with the 6BR. There is no way a .243 will ever be accurate enough to compete in that arena.......jackie
