Since Karl Kenyon has retired who does the best trigger work on the 52's? Mine breaks clean but is a might heavy. Any info would be welcome.
thanks,
Jim

You might give Butch Hongisto a call at 573-468-3234 . Butch has worked on a couple of my triggers and done an excellent job..

Dave,
Did Butch convert your 2 lever triggers to a three lever?
I did not know Butch was doing this type of work - I think Karl was converting them 3 lever triggers??
There is a Big difference~? Just curious because I have a couple.

Canjar = good stuff!

Howdy!
I have a Canjar on a Remington 37. Very light, very crisp pull. I like it a lot!

Last week a PARTS trigger for a Rem 37 sold for $207 on gunbroker. Matt Canjar made good stuff. I cannot imagine that it would be considered a negative to have a Canjar on a 52. To me, that would be a selling point!

52 trigger option

The 52 trigger work used by Karl was to change the fulcrum point of the finger lever. If that is done you will have to remove some material from the front of the trigger guard to let the lever go far enough forward to get the bolt release to work.

If it is a light pull for C, D, Or E the Canjar is fine. The one they made for a B can be troublesome. They really did not make a light pull for the B Their regular B was to heavy a pull and the set trigger version was tempermental. Mine drove me crazy with temper
