I have a 40x with a BRBR Jewell trigger and am missing the "spring lever". As a result, the bolt cannot be secured in the action. Anyone have an idea where I can find one?

Thanks, Ray

If you are refering to the wire spring on the later 700 style actions that keeps the bolt stop under tension they are available from Midway. Look for 700 parts. Part number is:
Product #: 189544

The small coil spring for the early 722 actions is not available anywhere as far as I know. I've modified a couple of actions to use the later wire spring using a small end mill in the milling machine.

Valve cores from car or motorcycle tire valve stems are a good source for tiny coil springs.

Ray,
Over the Years I have always need small springs!!
I have gone to Locksmith taken apart old VCR's, Bic Pens etc with mixed results on quality!
Wow I never thought about "Valve Stem" Springs!
Right Size & good Quality!!
Thanks :D

Back in those days, I used Bic cigarette lighter springs to good effect. They were exceptionally durable and, for example, a length could be substituted in a R*****ton trigger to good effect.

Don't know what the current crop of incendiary devices are like.

neighbor is a champion shooter he uses the bic spring on all his rem triggers.
