36 shooters brave the frozen tundra of Tomball
Well, that may be a little extreme, but keep in mind, this is Houston Tx, not Vermont. 48 degrees in 20 mph wind is pretty cold down here.
Anyway, we had a great turnout for our first Club Match of the Season at The Tomball Gun Club..The conditions were VERY tough, so tough that only 4 shooters stayed "clean" with a 250, and this is in a crowd were 250 pins are handed out like M&M's.
Nick Marino did a masterful job of handling the conditions with an hard won 250 20X. The results:
Factory Class:
Paul King..........239 3x
Brad Hodges......213
Modified Class:
Steve Stewart....245 5x
James Barron......240 4x
Bill Strange.........2393x
Benchrest Class:
Nick Marino.........250 20x
Gary Walters.......250 15x
Joe Duke............250 14x
Darrel Martin.......250 9x
Eddie Carter........249 18x
Thanks to all of the shooters who came out to support our Tomball Club Match Program. Our next match will be 200 yards, March 4th. See every body then...........jackie
