I'd like to look at that reamer drawing; I'm currently talking with a smith about building a 338LM improved with minimum neck and throated for the 300 grain smks.
the edge is also another option, but i think around 2850 is max on it. i am sure glad i went the lapua imp route. yes the dies are a pain in the arse, but lapua brass is just so good. expensive, but in the end cheaper cuz it lasts. my fireform load shoots those same 300smk's at 2830ish, and under a half moa, witch makes it fun to form brass for. we were plinking out to 1600 yards with forming loads, with better than expected accuracy.
