anyone try 118 bibs in a 308 want use in a score match thought maybe i could have advantage at 200 yards but having a hard time finding any loads for this combo maybe there are some hunter class shooters who will set me straight

I've used 118's and 112's in several 308's. I use them in all sorts of assorted 30cal's for testing the platform for accuracy.

I shot a 308 HBR rifle for about 3 years using N-140 and 118g 7's exclusicvely over that time; 17 twist Shilen. Lazer, it was . Someone recently said you can't go wrong with an ott 6, I say ya can't go wrong with a 3 o ate.
