I have to buy new cases for my .300wm, I can choose between this brands: Hornady, Norma, Rws, Sako... Which should I get?

trazman,

I don't know what's available to you steadily in Slovenia. I would buy sample lots of the brands available to you, cut them to length and do measurements (CCs water, case weight, etc...) to cull each brand. See which are most uniform and start there. It's worth the extra expense to do this instead of wondering: 'I wonder if the brand X would improve my results...'
And then there's powder... and then primers... and then projectiles...
You get my drift.

hi Tarzan,,,hahah........get RWS !!!! ,,,they are barely available here in the USA but if you can find them they are the best...Roger

Trazman,

Buy the RWS if you can get them, then my second choice of those listed would be Hornady. If you can get the RWS. I would like contact info for them. I loved their brass. I was never able to wear any of it out. And because of its heavier weight, the guns used less powder.

When I shot a 308 Baer, I formed the cases from RWS 375 H&H brass. I also used to shoot a 6.5x57 AI formed from RWS 7x57 cases. That RWS was some of the best brass I ever used in precision shooting sports - definitely as good as Lapua, if not better in my experience.
