30 cal 1.000 long J4 Jackets

The 1.000 long jackets are being made now. We'll run straight through until 2:00 AM Sunday morning and then start back up again at 4:00 AM Monday morning. Several jacket orders should ship on Monday and Tuesday.

I apologize to all those affected by the delay in getting these jackets made. As a person who has been on the waiting end of the bullet jackets situation for many years I completely understand and appreciate the hardship that a lack of jackets creates.

I want to restate our commitment to the custom bullet makers to have a readily available supply of quality bullet jackets. This situation has exposed a weakness in our process that has been resolved permanently.

On a related note, I can confirm that no jacket price increase is planned for 2010. The current cost of copper is approaching its 2008 high mark but since we had the misfortune of securing copper prices for 2009 while they were at their 2008 high there is essentially no change in our material cost.

I am compelled to state that jacket prices are subject to change without notice but remind everyone that historically we have kept the prices stable even during time of significant material cost changes.

Jackets were on the front porch when I got home from work today.

I spoke to Bill Schieder @ Fowler Bullets today, he said he just got a pallet full today,,,,,,,

the wind is my friend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
