Do you know of anybody say shooting 25 ths off of the lands 40 off? Iwas just wrondering if anybody try it. Or not.

Some people do "jump" that far off the lands and have success at it. Some barrels will ony respond to jumping. Mine have always worked at .006 in from where I can just barely see lands marks on a bullet; what I call Kiss.
