Do you guys think that if the my 700 VLS was worked enough, and with the right load that it could be competitive in a class? If so what class? I am looking to break into the sport and don't really know much about it.
Well, since you're in Pa there are a bunch of opportunities for you to use your .204 in competition. There are at least two clubs hosting Groundhog shoots in your area. Two of which are Mifflin Co. Sportsmans Assoc. in Lewistown, and the St. Thomas Shoot in St. Thomas.
Also, if you visit the IBS website, you could find details on score shooting of which many clubs offer a factory class. Some clubs that come to mind are York, Sulphur Springs (near Williamport), and Thurmont, MD.
This season is pretty much over, but I suggest you peruse the IBS site and the Mifflin Co. Sportsmans Assoc. site to get more insight of what it's all about.
