Only Lou Murdica can answer the F-Class thing as its his idea but I think your right that he wants to draw in more shooters already having the right equipment.Unfortunately he won't post on this thread because he doesn't like to answer questions or get into debates.
The longrange chairman didn't know anything about the F-Class stuff even though it was posted on the nbrsa website at the time.I am beginning to think the communication between the parties in charge is not very good.I would have thought the guy in charge of all things longrange would atleast know what is going on long before the shooters but that is rarely the case. What makes it worse is there relatives in one form or another by marriage and yet they don't communicate like they should.
As to the two sanctioning bodies not getting along what happened?
If you remember back and probaly a guy like Cheechako(Ray Meketa)remembers this stuff we used to get Precision Shooting magazine as part of our membership fees just like the IBS members.I took the organizations by-laws to the legal people were I work and had them look into things for me concerning the non-profit laws of California and removing shooters from the organization and they pointed that out as I was telling them about our lousy newsletter. We also had another good magazine prior to that. The by-laws are about 400 pages long with 30 of those or more being garbage you can skip but you can read the actual rules as recorded in the minutes and when and why they were enacted.
Most of what we have heard while at the matches here is pure nonsense when it comes to the actual rules. Most of it is just the same guy making bold statements that nobody else has ever heard of and as of yet doesn't exist in the rules. Its a kind of shoot from the hip approach and hope we don't get called on it style of governing.
I will start a new thread about nbrsa rule changes that the membership can vote on for agenda items.
