2008 Super Shoot 2-Gun Top 21

Great job Joe Hynes...

.... our good buddy from Michigan. "Lil" Joe" is a relatively new shooter who shoots primarily at Harrison and Holton. I think this is his fourth year of shooting, but basically took all of last year off to build a new house. Congratulations for some fine shooting in some challenging conditions.

Also, congratulations to Larry Costa, Jeff Summers, Andy Shifflett, Gene Bukys and Lou Murdica on their fine finishes. Great job.

Larry Costa - 1, 5, 7, 23 and 41.

Jeff Summers - 2, 4, 9, 121, and 15.

Mike Ratigan - 13, 18, DNC, 16T, and 1.

Billy Stevens - 6, 98, 99, 1, and 26.

Tony Boyer - 9, 9, 4, 11, and 35T.

Bill Goad - 15, 16, 2, 18, and 60.

Joe Krupa - 10, 20, 33, 6, and 11.

Kent Harshman - 20, 3, 6, 114 (his first), and DNC.

Wow... those are some hard numbers to follow right there. And then if you take out the one oh !!#$! match that each one seemed to have and average those remaining finishes you have several of these guys finishing inside top 10 for an average.

As BR shooters we all look at aggs and not single targets when evaluating a rifle. The "aggs" that these guys above are posting over a period of several years at the biggest match of the year is amazing.

Thanks Joe, I have many people to thank for the results I have had in this sport, you are definately one of them. I try and watch the things that you do and learn from them. It really is hard to believe that in 2003 I was dreaming of just going to the Super Shoot, and now seeing my name in THAT list of people still amazes me. I have been on many other lists, but none like that. Hopefully someday I will figure this game out. And to think I was ready to load my junk up and come home after shooting Wednesday.

Oh and congratulations on the HOF induction also. You earned it buddy.

Joe
