Sunday Morning we will hold our only 200 yard Club Match at Tomball.

Same format as the 100, we shoot a 200 yard agg for score. I will have a target crew so no one will have to trudge all the way down to get their targets.

Gates open a 6:am.

This should be fun. If you love Tomball at 100, you're really going to love it at 200........jackie

Sure would like to be there; but I am in California visiting my daughter for her birthday. When Daddy's girl says "come visit me", well you know what happens next.
Hope everyone shoots well.

Joe, the morning started out pretty well, rather light conditions for Tomball, but by 10:00 am, it was starting to get nasty, and 200 yards at Tomball can be a nasty with a capitol "N".

Nobody stayed "clean". Ron Parker won it with a 249 12x, Dwayne Pullum was 2d with a 249 6x, and Geramo Villareal was 3d with a 248 10x, his two dropped points due to one shot, a "8" on the last target. Personally, I think the scores were pretty darned good considering you could'nt see the target half the time for the mirage in that 100 degree heat.

Glenn Oaks won the Modified Class with a 247 3x, Scott Deal was 2d with a 245 5x, Jim Hostetler was 3d shooting his HBR Rifle with a 243 1x. Paul King took the Factory Class with a 230.

We had 32 shooters show up, a pleasant surprise since I did not know how many would come out for the 200 yard match. I think everybody had a great time........jackie

Congratulations to all the winners. It is good to see that kind of turnout for the 200 yard match. Shows that folks are not just fair weather shooters but rather are indeed "competitors". Your program is paying off. I would have liked to have been there.

Great turnout. Congrats to all that shot. Congrats Ron...

Jackie, you should make up some pins that say "I shot 245+ at 200 yards at Tomball, and that is saying something". :)
