17th Annual Catfish Shoot

We will be having the 17th Annual Ga. State IR 50/50 50yd. 3-GUN Championship on 8-28-10. The fish are already caught.;) As always, the match will be limited to 30 shooters. Below is a list names of shooters who have told me that they were planning on coming. If you know of someone who is planning on coming, and isn't on the list, please have them contact me. If your name is on the list, and you're not planning on coming, please let me know. Come join us, then shoot the Ga. State IR 50/50 50 meter championship on 8-29-10, in Montezuma. It'll be a fun weekend. :D

Meters at Macon County Gun Club

I was told that there was a big bass tournament at Eufaula, Al this weekend and the room rates were “high” and hard to get. Several shooters were staying the in the Montezuma area and driving over to Georgetown Saturday morning. I’ve already told several shooters that the Macon County range will be open on Friday for testing and I’ll open it for Thursday if anyone is interested in shooting Thursday.
After the match in Georgetown we’ll all drive back to Macon County and setup and practice for the meters match on Sunday morning. If you are not planning to shoot both matches please let Leonard, Rod or me know so we can make plans.

Got a room at the Jameson in Eufala for $75. I know there are cheaper rates a Days in. Had no trouble getting a first floor room.

Below is the latest version of the list. The weather forecast is Low 71 F, High 89 F. It looks like we'll be blessed with some great weather. The Low Saturday night is supposed to be 69 F, so it'll be great for the Meters in Montezuma on Sunday.
