I've been reading about tuners and find the idea interesting. I am thinking that I might want to try one just to have the experience but have been wondering if their effectiveness will be apparent on a relatively short and stiff barrel such as an 18" .920 22LR barrel. Is it worth a try?

Yes, it's a "Fudd" Mountain Specialties rest made by Scott Hamilton. I have enjoyed owning and using it. I found dealing with Scott was great. The last time I asked him if I could get more bags he suggested that it might be easier to make my own. Thanks for the link to Mr. Greenlaw.
