    Why I anneal (photo heavy)

I just read through this thread. We've come a long way Baby :) In an effort to spend most of the Nursing Home's Money, I bought an A M P two years ago> What's not to like? I am an equipment freak to some degree I'll admit but why not stay up with the technology if you're only gonna end up...

Alex Wheeler has a few videos on his site regarding cases. Everyone who hasn't seen them should watch them.

    hummer barrels

I think a lot of people who have Hummer barrels don't realize they have one until it quits shooting, the magic doesn't last forever. Quiet often folks shoot them out because they shoot so well they just love shooting them, offer others a few shots and so on. They are few and far between. There...

    hummer barrels

Years ago, there was an article in Precision Shooter in which was an interview with Tony in which he discussed this issue. More to it than a great memory.

    hummer barrels

They matter but they are no comparison to a barrel that will shoot any reasonable thing one puts in it. Prolly will find more folks with good bullets but they don't compare

Does cleaning brass cases help accuracy?

In my ideal world, dies and neck bushings would all be carbide and all chambers no turn. If I didn't have a ton of prepped cases, I would start over and go no turn.

    hummer barrels

I would doubt it. I shot a 6BR 14 twist and 67gn bullete in an HBR rifle for a couple of years and I found it to be either on or off. I won 4 matches with it over two years and a couple of them decisively but most of the time, it was OFF. There must be an issue with it being Overbore or...

    H4198 availability.

Something I noted from the N-120 test, The bolt lift got heavy at the same numbers I was using with LT-30. I only ran the one string though. When I get back in the spring I will try it some more. New zero freebore reamer that has shown tendencies to make the bolt lift a bit heavy.

I have a jug of it Al. I have only tried it in a couple of tests and it was ok. I have been having good results with LT-30 which I have around 30 pounds of so I've been burning it off :) At my advanced age< I'll prolly not get to burn off all the LT-30 !

A little history: In the beginning of our using the 30 BR many or most of used N-130. Came the year the only way one could buy it was in one pound containers, for more money of course then came the year none was shipped to America. Starting to sound familiar?

I tested a new barrel the other day, LT-30 against N-130. That barrel liked the LT30 a little better. I have a pound of H-4198 but I plan to have them burn it along with me when I pass, it's that Dear :)
