New to Benchrest and have a couple questions

From one Newbie to another, I started with the Bald Eagle rest. Only suggestion is , if you have the flex arm with the windage adjustment, remove it, reverse the top of the rest and install the knob directly on the top and eliminate the flex arm. Since then I have added a SEB NEO (after a 7...

difference between 40x and standard Walker trigger

When I purchased my Custom Shop 40X two years ago (Now made at Dakota Arms) the option was a 40X Trigger set down as low as 1.5 pounds or an after market trigger set as low as 2 ounces. I believe they were offering a Jewel for that option. Bob

    Advantage to fixed power scope?

I own a number of Fixed Power Scopes, mainly for making weight. BUT I like to use as much magnification as possible, but when the mirage is bad, I crank my variables down, many times below the magnification of my fixed power scopes. When my eyes are tired, I like the lower power settings also. Bob

    Looking for Advice!

Bob White at The Shooter's Corner, usually has some excellent used RimFire Bench Rest Rifles in stock. I started with a Cooper BRM which I did well with, before moving to a custom build. I shoot with a number of guys that have H&R Model 12s, which are available used very often. Bob

Remington rifle settlement, including free trigger replacement, is official

I have also heard during the recall, people sending in their rifles and waiting 5-7 months to get them back. Rather just spring for a Jewel or Calvin Elite Timney. Bob

For You Veterans and Friends of Veterans

If you have ever been to any of the Presidential Library's, you will find that they do not cover up anything. It is part of their purview. A whole section of the Clinton Library is about the Lewinsky situation and they even tried to get the blue dress for it, but her mother would not give it up...
