we need a humor forum.....until then

Biology exam. In a college level advanced Biology exam, the last question was, 'Name eight (8) advantages of Mother's Milk'. This final question was worth 70 points or zero, none at all. One male student, in particular, was hard put to think of eight advantages. However, after some serious...

This is what I have been fooling with while not shooting

Cars (hot rods/street rods/collector cars, etc) as a hobby can get VERY expensive. Another way to look at it is ...You can sleep in your car but can't drive your "house" to the store.

    Xp100

Xp 100 Read this and decide for yourself. (http://www.bellmtcs.com/store/index.php?cid=239) If the barrel is "at least" 16" long and the OAL of the rig is 26" long, it's still a rifle, no matter what it looks like.

    Eric Holder

The bad part is it'll get worse before it gets better! What difference does it make? Everybody better CYA and keep your powder dry. I'am from the Government and I'am here to help??

    Microfit Stocks

Richard's Micro Fit stocks. IMHO, Richard's Micro Fit stocks are one of the better deals out there. GREAT selection of styles and wood to choose from. Know in advance that they're not a "drop in" and be prepared to do some work to make it "your's". The finished product depends on how much work...

    20 vartarg load question

I was running into the same problem (keyholing) when working up a "mid range" load. Upped the powder charge (a little) without changing anything else and the bullets straightened right out. Shoot em if you've got em!;)

who were the first 4 presidents?

Flunked U.S. History in 10 th. grade. Had to take it over in my senior year. :o If I could name all the Presidents, I would get a passing grade so I could graduate. I remember most of them to this day. Funny what you can do when you "have to". Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe...

    Small caliber broken case extractior??

It's not a matter of "need" as much as wanting one before you need it. Just planning ahead. I'am thinking of 20 VT, Fireball or even necked down to 17 brass. With turned necks and necking down brass from .223 or .221, sooner or later you'll get a neck seperation? Been pretty lucky so far but...

    Small caliber broken case extractior??

Nothing in 20 or 17 caliber. Been there before and they have nothing other than the standard case size. Tried a while back for a 6MM when I found that out. I'll keep looking till I find the "proper tool" for the job. A while back Midway had a listing in their catalog of a "bunch" of different...

    Small caliber broken case extractior??

Lots of 7.62 (.308) and 5.56 (.223) available and I was even able to pick up a 6MM for my BR rounds. What about a "small caliber" like say a 20 or 17? Anybody make one or know where one might be available? No oversized brush or bent screwdrivers to gouge up the chambers.:( I want the proper...

head space and bumping shoulders - further question

Correct me if I'am wrong! The Redding Compitition Shell Holders are a + size and one standard. When used, they will move the case "away' (down) from it's normal shoulder position because of the thickness of the shell holder? Just the opposite of what you want to do? You want to be able to run...

    Bank of America

Just got a notice from B of A that there's only $6.35 in my account. I guess I need to write "another" check for $6.00. Don't want to run my account too low.;) They said I better put more $$ in to cover any checks I might write? Don't think I'll be doing that very soon.:p

    22br and 20br

I shoot a 6 and 22BR. Natural born bug hole makers. Easy on brass and great accuracy. Pressure jumps "real fast" in the 22 BR compared to it's bigger brother the 6BR but can be tamed real easy. You just have to be aware as you load. The 20BR is next on my list.

    richards microfit stocks

An email to them usually takes about a week "or longer" to get a reply. Hang in there and they'll get back to you. I've got another stock on order. Should show up in a couple more weeks? They seem to be lacking in their communication skills. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand...

    Hydrographics

Hydro-dip is the same outfit that did a camo job on my M1A composit stock. They told me they had a problem with the finish not sticking to the stock. Had to do it over again (before they sent it back) to get it to come out right. Mine has a satin finish over the dip coat. Beautiful job and...

A guy is driving around the back woods of Montana and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale 'He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever...

Walmart greeters. Young people forget that these old people had a career before they retired...... Charley, a new retiree-greeter at Wal-Mart, just couldn't seem to get to work on time. Every day he was 5, 10, 15 minutes late. But he was a good worker, really tidy, clean-shaven...
