Greetings from a New Member - Beginning my journey to building my own Rifle

There's a bunch of videos on Youtube done by an old guy that goes by Viper, those can be real helpful, his cutting oil is very good also. You can also buy Gordy Gritters video, it's good to have too. I had about a 35 year gap in my lathe use history and after buying one to use discovered I'd...

    The Cactus

Was curious if anybody going to the Cactus has a flag rotation that is using Graham Flags, or perhaps want's to do one.

    New reamer time!

I've been shooting the JGS1045 with a .269 neck for two years now, it works fine. The thicker necks require less maintenance than the .262 necks do. I use the smallest base sizer that Harrels sells, maybe a #3, the whole combination works fine. I'm going to try annealing after five firings...

Registration and Contact Info For Group Nationals??

Have been trying to find out if I'm registered for the Nationals. Can't open that spreadsheet and can't get Matt to respond to an email. Does anyone have any ideas about how to find out or get somebody on the phone or does anybody know if I can just pay up when I get there. Thanks

    322 in the 6PPC

Know quite a few guys that have had luck with LT 31 in Phoenix. Shot some 131.5 at the Cactus this year, it was pretty good also, the question is going to be how hot it gets, if it's over 95 I'll probably shoot some old t powder.

completely off-topic question on Flavio triggers....

Was curious why a guy would put a Flavio on a rail instead of saving a few hundred and using a Jewell for example? I have Flavio's on my bag guns one of which I took off of my rail, put the Jewell off of the bag gun back on the rail and it didn't miss a lick. Do you guys think having a real...

    Lt-31

I started using LT31 in July of 17 on the reccomendation of Durward Wooford. Since then I've probably used 45lbs of it, give or take a bit. Out here in the west where humidity is below 20% a lot it works very well, especially if you have one of Mikes tuners on your rifle. I've tried to shoot...

    Tuner opinions?

Right on the money! One thing that hasn't been talked about much here is that when you go to the line during an agg and lets say your rifle shot a real small group on the prior target and you go to the line and the rifle bucks and shakes and you can't get two to touch. This is very common and...

    Tuner opinions?

Let me see if I've got this right. You watched one guy tune his rifle with a 3 oz. tuner and you KNOW that's the way to go. The heavier one's aren't needed. WOW. I guess Mike's tuner isn't done right.

Best action(s) for a rail gun

This is a BAT 3LL that is 2 inch OD, top feed, right eject action that is also Melonited. When a guy fires this action a loaded round is in the chamber and a loaded round is laid on top of the bolt in the feed port. After firing, the top slides back the bolt is cycled and a loaded round is...

Form tool for loading press arbor

Was thinking that there are guys on this site that have built their own loading press. The question I have is does anyone on here have any information on what the tool looks like that the shellholder seat is milled with or where to buy one? Thanks!!

Many of the pro smith's have a threading stop on their carriage, they're skilled too.

    Viper Action

I know guys that convert panda's and others to drop ports but they all say they're dangerous, I've fired one and liked it but my normal BR rigs are set up for rightys and are left feed, right eject and they work fine, you just have to use a tube or a mat to keep the cases from rolling off of the...
