Todd, thanks for running a great match. Also thank you for soliciting the Sightron scope. Nice touch! Of course thanks Sightron!. Had a great time with everyone & the area is as nice anywhere on the planet! 4 really close matches over the weekend was a bonus. Nice shooting gentlemen! Keith

    First meters match....a question

Scott, 2 or 3 clicks up shoul do it. Don’t forget to reset your parallax. Meters isn’t as difficult as some make it out to be. You’ll be fine. Good Luck! Keith

    Scope adjustment or Hold over?

Scott, glad to see you're giving the sporter a try because it good to see people willing to give it a try. They are challenging as you know & imo the reason I'm comfortable holding off. I can't see the scoring rings so am forced to. Most others are the same. As far as any advice from me, I...

    Scope adjustment or Hold over?

Scott, glad to see your shooting some sporter matches. While we didn't have quite as much wind as you this past weekend at LCRC, but it was quite breezy. Steady10mph in the morning, & 15-20mph in the afternoon with some higher gusts. There were some lulls of 10mph or so that were...

    Salem P & R Club State & Regional Sporter Match June 9 Yds & 10 Meters

Todd, attendance may be lighter due to the match being moved up a month. Also scheduling over other clubs in the region, what I believe was done intentionally, didn't help. A MD sent out a schedule for all the clubs in the region. There was no need for this. In any case, welcome back & hope you...

Left the Range - Dave Shattuck

Unfortunately my start into rfbr was when Dave's was winding down. I was able to attend a few matches with him & thoroughly enjoyed our conversations & his support. My condolences to his family. RIP Dave Keith

    Wtb seb neo or max

They generally don't depreciate much. If you must have a Seb for say less than a grand You're only option will the original Seb. I lucked into one with a case & 2 bags for $700 & love it. Butch, who posted above also makes a joystick top that's called a Shadetree that are excellent for much...

    Scope adjustment or Hold over?

Scope adjustment vs. holdover- I've found for me it is best to hold over as I'm not patient enough to shoot 1 condition. Whenever I've adjusted the scope & shot more than one condition I've found that I've over corrected for only 1. The days where all the flags are behaving themselves & the...

    Who makes good windicators

As was mentioned the Beggs probe is the Gold Standard. Last time I contacted him he still had pieces & parts but wasn't building them any longer. Look in the classified section here & there is a guy making the Beggs design with Gene's permission. Don't own one personally but have shot over them...

    Custom Creation

Yes they do! While at the Triple Crown a few years ago I shot to the right of Tony Purdy shooting one of Joe's guns. He did have a tall piece of plexiglass to deflect the spent casings. He had to be reminded to actually set it up though. No harm done. Keith

    Need input for range redesign...

Suggestions One of the issues I see quite frequently is benches that are too close together. Thus, not allowing a lefty to shoot on a bench to the left of a right handed shooter. Most of the time not a big deal but have seen seperate relays needed at times. Leave enough room to accommodate this...

    Tuning for ammo

Well, you'll find there a 2 camps here. Some leave it alone & are steadfast about it. Some twist it some. I'm in the twist it camp. For the most part you won't need to turn it much once tuned. When I say that I mean 10 clicks is a lot! You shouldn't have to do that. I believe tune changes due...

    The Equalizing Scoring Reticle

I'd have a hard time with a shot not touching a dot or a ring scored as such "if" I were using a larger caliber. I get it & think the reticle would certainly do as intended, but feel like the UBR target is the better way. Keith
