First NBRSA Registered Score Match -
Rich Quigley won the "first" NBRSA Register Score Match at WWCCA today. Rich shot a 250-13x at 200 yards shooting 30BR in a Swindlehurst action. The conditions today were fairly mild with little wind and temps around 30 degrees. However, only three...
Sorry if this been asked before..., when and where will the IBS 100/200 yard Group Nationals be held in 2010? I know that the IBS Annual meeting is in Jan. but someone might have some insight as to the likely range.
Thanks,

Harrison 2004: Not sure which way the money is flowing...? This was the first time I shot my railgun in competition (i.e., a wager). Practice makes perfect... several years later I was fortunate enough to win an Agg at the Nationals.

Tim,
Unless you are sponsoring a flag rotation at the Supershoot (or any of the Nationals), you don't need 30 flags. Most people build 8, which provides you 6 at 200 yards and a few spares (in case someone accidently shoots one).
In terms of pole heights, it varies based on the range (as...
Jerry,
You have a good point... Jim shot Great that week, and espescially during the HV days (I recall he shot a .19xx HV Grand agg).
My records indicate that that we had fairly smooth conditions during the HV 100 and 200 yard days. However, if you look at Jim's 4-Gun he struggled (in relative...
Based on velocity, the new powder appears to be a viable alternative to V-133.
The key will be its sensitivity to temp and humidity fluctuations.
Time will tell if it will perform as well as V-133 with regard to tune.
I plan to test it, but right now, I do not plan on buying "pounds" of it...
Jeff Gaidos shot great!! Look at the 2-Gun margin between 1st and 2nd. The conditions were extremely difficult, and Jeff had his gun humming (and he was guiding it with precision).
Great Shooting!!!!

Personally, I don't see an issue with regard to doubling up on someone. I've shot a lot of matches at WWCCA where the benches are inches apart, and at St. Louis where they are feet apart. I have never found it to noticeably impact my shots or groups.
When I hear the command "...insert your...
Congratulations Harley, Bill, and Jack. Great Shooting!
I wish I could have been there, but the big "B" has me busy at work.
Nice shooting all you competitors from Michigan; Dwight, Lowell, Greg and Bill Symons (you are shooting great Bill, keep it up).

Lowell pounded the bench in frustration, but hung in to win the 2-Gun at WWCCA. Conditions on Saturday were brutal, with hollowing winds that switched back and forth before you could blink an eye. On Sunday the conditions were very little winds, but cause many to scratch their heads when a...
