OT How to build a Ferrari............in a chicken shed

Hmmm not sure Ferrari agreed back in the 50's-60's most cars back then were front engine rear drive, which would put the gearbox or drive tube in the middle. Sitting straddling either of those would raise the roof height a bit. Things have certainly changed since then........I would prefer a...

This is what I have been fooling with while not shooting

Al I can relate to that, just had 14 boxes arrive this past Monday and the last shipment (a month ago) was 19 boxes the freight bill alone could've bought a few barrels and bullets. I'm putting a Hydraboost on my Mustang, but using Baer 6s brakes, I love brakes that can stop as good as you can...

I've just been through this, I'm in New Zealand but I'll outline what I had to go through.. I had a friend ship me some brass from Europe (Denmark specifically). My friend packaged it up and mailed it to me only to have it returned to him a few days latter. To cut a long story short he had to...

we need a humor forum.....until then

A senior citizen drove his brand new Holden Commodore out of the dealership, taking off down the road, he pushed it to 120kph, enjoying the power of the car ..... “Amazing,” he thought as he flew down the Southern Outlet, pushing the pedal even more. Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a...

    Moving backer motor

When I set up one of the systems using Jerry Stillers plans I used a 12v DC gear motor to drive it (no power at the range) and used a double chain joiner link and drilled a piece of steel so that the joiner link would fit it, then removed the outer link of the joiner and welded the piece of...

Potential New World Record Shot by Gary Ocock - ** NEW** Sta-Moly Precision Jackets

Not to take anything from Gary Ocock, to shoot an agg that small is a real achievement. So do I and I'm not in the know.......not even on the same continent but the only thing that matters is the end result after the record committee does their bit.

    Borescoping and Moly bullets

At the Supershoot once I took my rifle along and had the barrel scoped (just to go in the draw) I got told the barrel needed a good scrub as there was quite a bit of carbon in the barrel. Took a look with a scope after I got home, sure enough there was dark streaking down every groove and land...
