I have shot many different actions over that last 40yrs (Witicitaw (sp)-Hart-Rem.-Stolle) all with a port on the Left and sometimes a port on both sides...always with an ejector ....the only thing I worry about when a primer blows is "ruining the trigger".....Roger

welllll...ther are a lot ov variables.....besides wt. (wich I dont hav any under 10 lbs)...the shape/desighn/drop at heel of the stock ---field of view on the scope--and how firm/tite of hold you use (no free recoil)....I usually dont see much till I get past 300 yds...just hear the "thud" in...

oooo.....sounds toooo hot (as Goldie Locks wuld say).....you are close to having a pierced (blanked) primer.....reduce the powder aprox 1 gr....make shure that you are not pushing (resizing)the shoulder of the ctg too far ,and proceed carefully...Roger

I would use a Kodiak action...it is a cupla 0z. lighter than a Panda and has an integral recoil lug (thePanda F-clas has one too ...but other Pandas without lug work well when switching bbls. and as stated no lug is necessary) plus integral 20 MOA rail (dont hav to add one -saves wt.!!)...plus...
