Well before you get your hopes up, if your intention is to do this mod, you may want to look at a different model. When I talked to Dave Bruno, he did not recommend doing this to a S model, and he further stated he doesn't have a spring for this model.

I got 20 in a white box, and I tested this stuff and found that it shot as good as Lapua, so I bought 100 more, they came in Norma boxes with 25 in each box, but there is no lot numbers.

I bought some Norma 6 ppc brass, and was wondering how do you tell the lot number of the brass?

I sure hope this record holds. Jerry is ONE GREAT GUY, and would deserve to have this. I felt bad as we thought Jerry had the record in 600 yard group, and at the exact same date and time, at Piedmont the record fell, with a smaller group than jerry shot.

For $1200 to $1500 you should be able to get into a nice Panda. Halls are good, Borden actions are still popular, and work well. Just figure that anything in that price is going to need a new barrel.

I would say that the 6 BR has inherent accuracy and is a great case. Many shot it in 100-300 yard BR when good brass was hard to obtain for the 6 PPC, and they did well with it. The main problem is the case is a bit overbore for what is needed for the light bullets most use in 100-300 yard...
