Hi Francis, the barrel is 24" and I think it was a light varmint taper. I will have to check when I get back. It has about 3 -4 hundred rounds through it. Still shot well for a varmint type rig. Thanks John

Gentlemen, now that you mention it, yes it would be a problem at the shoulder. I was trying to think of the fastest easiest way to fix a problem. I guess it could be set back and rechambered. Will have to measure the barrel to see if there is enough material for a new shoulder after setting it...
