    New Shooter and the Rules

LarryD Congradulations on your target, but if you are talking about the State and Regional Shoot. Winners of there class have to have there guns weighed (first three spots)to insure the weight is correct for that class. This should have been explained to you at the start of the match and you...

    Ultralight action

Don is correct, it's not the action. It's a slight design flaw in the trigger it's self. A while back (3yrs ago) there bout, a shooter that I know had the same problem with his sporter and thought for sure it was the action. After many dollars later it was proven that it was in the trigger...

    Ultralight action

Pete, The trigger that has been referred to, has had this problem on some sporters with the bottom safety. The fix is simple and the problem has been known by the maker for sometime now. They, I guess, would rather replace springs rather than retool or make a slight change in design. I've had...

Oil on the beach at Pensacola

Yep That is bad and it's only going to get worse. The thing is, BP doesn't give a damn and our Gov't is too stupid to organize the clean up the way it should be done. I've lived down here in Alabama for 26 years and now am thinking of retiring to the Mts. of Tenn to get away from it.

    Down-draft Indicators?

Kent and James, I know! Wish I were, but it's just too far to travel alone and too costly for a one day shoot. It's 10.5 hrs each way and at least 2 nights in a motel. Will for sure be seeing you at the Nat's in Aug, will be bringing a new shooter with me to get the experience.:p

    World Rimfire Match ?

tuna It is my understanding that David Kennerman is using the results from the National Shoots to Qualify Shooters. He is selecting the top 10 finishers, from each sanction. That's PSL, ARA, IR 50/50 and RBA. Qualifing started last year in 2009 from all the National shoots, as will be done...

    Sandblasting Ammo

If it's sand blasting our barrels, why wouldn't we see equal wear on the top and sides of the barrel?? Anyone ever think that the solvents we use to clean with, may be causing some kind of chemical reaction with the metal that the barrels made of and combination of residue in the barrel?

Steve Hanna It was great to see you and your son shooting together at the Crawfish. He did very good shooting and didn't seem to mind the missed shots. You had better watch out, cause before you know it he'll be putting a whipping on ya. Some of the best times I've had shooting, is when my son...
