If it's sand blasting our barrels, why wouldn't we see equal wear on the top and sides of the barrel?? Anyone ever think that the solvents we use to clean with, may be causing some kind of chemical reaction with the metal that the barrels made of and combination of residue in the barrel?

Thanks James My Gorham 10.5# was shooting great and my little Calfee #11 Sporter was shooting great also. A lot of Fun, Food and Sunshine was had by all. It was good to see Old Friends and make New ones. Bill "Thumper" Smith put on another Great shoot as usual.:D
